About the BPDD Check
The BPDD Check is a group-wide integrity analysis. It is called Business Partner Due Diligence (BPDD) and aims at identifying risks such as corruption or money laundering risks as early as possible and to minimize them by implementing respective measures. The BPDD process is applicable only for selected suppliers following a risk-based approach. The evaluation is performed with the support of an IT-based application. A successful assessment is a prerequisite for any business relation with the Volkswagen Group. Completion of a BPDD Check can take up to three months.
If you are not asked to go through this process by the Volkswagen Group explicitly, there is no demand for action.
