Corruption not only harms our company, but also affects employee and business partners. It destroys the reputation of our company and can lead to massive financial penalties.
Guideline on Anti-Corruption
Volkswagen has published a Guideline Anti-Corruption to raise awareness among employees and business partners of the dangers of corruption. It provides assistance on how to follow rules and regulations in everyday business. The goal is to prevent active and passive corruption. The Volkswagen Group grants and accepts gratuities to / from business partners only within the legally permissible framework and in accordance with specified internal guidelines and rules. No gratuities may be granted or accepted during a decision or tendering process.
In the collaboration with business partners it is important to recognize potential conflicts of interest, address them openly and thoroughly, and resolve them accordingly. Please be aware where potential conflicts of interest may arise during a business collaboration.
